I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Keele University.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and abide by their ethical guidelines. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate. My background is in education, and I have always had a passion for supporting people to become the best possible version of themselves. This is what led me into counselling.
Laura Green, MBACP
As a counsellor, my experience includes working in a hospice and volunteering for a charity providing support for clients affected by fertility or pregnancy issues, traumatic birth or baby loss. It is a privilege to work with clients, and I am continually learning and growing as a result. In addition to counselling, I run online and in-person Art for Wellbeing workshops to help people discover the benefits of creativity for mental health. Art has always been a passion of mine, and I am interested in its healing power, and the way it can give us a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Another of my interests is the natural world. I have experienced first-hand the impact nature has on mental wellbeing, and am keen to promote this to others. As part of my self-care routine, I enjoy walking, nature photography and painting outdoors.
