Online and Phone Counselling
Remote counselling is a convenient option for modern life. If you choose to have your sessions online via a video call, this will be on Zoom. This platform is secure, reliable and easy to use. Another option is telephone counselling. I have received specific training to deliver counselling online and by phone, and am experienced in both.

Sometimes it can be difficult to identify our feelings or put them into words; art can help us to access these deep emotions and express them in a powerful way. I offer creative counselling sessions over Zoom, which involve using art materials, images, symbols and objects to explore issues.
You do not need to be artistic or have any experience of art at all; there will be no judgement or interpretation. At our first assessment session, I will suggest a range of materials you can bring to each session. Clients who have chosen walk & talk therapy may be offered creative methods of working outdoors, such as using photography, if this feels appropriate.

Does the idea of sitting talking to someone about your emotions in an enclosed space feel intimidating or restrictive? Or are you someone who really connects with nature and loves being outdoors? Walk & talk therapy may be just right for you. It is basically counselling that happens as you walk alongside your counsellor in a quiet, natural setting.
It is now widely recognised that nature can have a powerful impact on our mental health and wellbeing, as well as the obvious physical benefits of exercise and fresh air. You will be given a choice of walking locations, each with routes risk-assessed as suitable for walk & talk therapy. If you opt for this, we will begin with an online or telephone assessment session, where we will discuss the suitability of this type of counselling for you, and agree how to proceed with sessions.
