I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Keele University.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and abide by their ethical guidelines. I am also fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate. My background is in education, and I have always had a passion for supporting people to become the best possible version of themselves. This is what led me into counselling.
Laura Green, MBACP
As a counsellor, I have worked in a hospice setting, supporting clients who had lost a loved one. Alongside my private practice, I currently work for a charity providing counselling for clients who have lost a baby, or are experiencing pregnancy- and birth- related issues such as post-natal depression or the effects of a traumatic birth. It is a privilege to work alongside clients, and I am continually learning and growing as a result. In addition to counselling, I am an amateur artist who loves to draw and paint. I am interested in the healing power of art, and the way it can give us a deeper understanding of ourselves.
